We are delighted to invite you to the 2027 INFORMS Applied Probability Society Conference, taking place at Durham University Business School, Durham, United Kingdom, from 12 to 15 July 2027. The conference is the premier global gathering for researchers, practitioners and students in applied probability, spanning stochastic modelling, queueing theory, stochastic control and optimisation, simulation, and their applications across service systems, networks, healthcare, energy and finance.
We warmly encourage researchers, academics, practitioners and students working in applied probability and related fields to submit an abstract for a contributed session.

About contributed sessions
Contributed sessions are assembled by the programme committee from individual abstracts, grouping talks on related topics. Each session runs for ninety minutes and carries four presentations, giving roughly twenty minutes per speaker including questions.

If you would like to organise a complete session of talks yourself, please see invited sessions. Proposals for invited sessions close on 1 December 2026.

Submission guidelines
- Submit your abstract through the contributed abstract form by 1 February 2027.
- Each participant may present only one abstract.
- The same abstract cannot be submitted by more than one person.
- Authors will be informed of the decision on their abstract by 1 March 2027.
Registration for presenters
Please note, acceptance of an abstract does not confirm your place. Presenting authors must also register and pay in full through the conference registration site, or the abstract will be withdrawn from the programme. The early registration rate is available until 30 April 2027. Fees and deadlines are on the conference registration page.
