Programme at a glance
APS 2027 opens with registration and the conference welcome, followed by the first keynote lecture. Each day then follows the same rhythm: a keynote or named lecture in the morning, three blocks of parallel sessions, and catering breaks between them. The conference closes at the end of the third day.
The draft programme below is provisional and will be updated as the schedule is confirmed. Dates against each day will be published once the full timetable is fixed.

Three lectures are delivered to the whole conference, one on each morning. Speakers are announced as they are confirmed.

The Applied Probability Society also presents its prize lectures during the conference. Recipients are announced by the society ahead of the meeting and will be added to the programme in due course.
Session venues
The conference uses two venues, a short walk apart on Millennium Place.
Gala Theatre
Registration, catering on arrival, the conference opening, and all keynote and named lectures.
Waterside Building
All parallel sessions, lunches and afternoon catering, the APS Business Meeting and the conference closure.

Session format
- Parallel sessions run in blocks of ninety minutes, with ten sessions running concurrently in each block.
- Each session carries four presentations, giving roughly twenty minutes per speaker including questions.
- Across the three days this gives ninety sessions and up to 360 presentation slots.
- Sessions are either invited, proposed by a session organiser, or contributed, assembled by the programme committee from individual abstracts. See the call for abstracts.
Social programme
- Museum visits on the evening of Day 1, from 18:00.
- Conference dinner on the evening of Day 2, from 18:00. This is booked separately at £65 per person; see the registration page.
- Optional activities, including cathedral, river and walking tours. Delegates select a preference when registering.
