Applied Probability Trust
The Applied Probability Trust is a not-for-profit foundation supporting study and research across the mathematical sciences. Established in 1964 with initial backing from the London Mathematical Society, it is directed by a board of trustees and its editorial office sits within the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Sheffield.
The Trust publishes the Journal of Applied Probability and Advances in Applied Probability, and supports the wider community through its meeting support schemes, prizes and endowments, and its events, jobs and initiatives listings.
International Centre for Mathematical Sciences
Supporting the satellite meeting in Edinburgh
ICMS is a national centre for research in the mathematical sciences, based at the Bayes Centre in Edinburgh and jointly owned by Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh. Founded in 1990, it is funded by its parent universities together with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
Its core work is developing and running international workshops and conferences across all areas of mathematics, alongside research-in-groups programmes, knowledge exchange and public engagement. ICMS supports the APS 2027 satellite meeting in Edinburgh.
Institute of Mathematical Statistics
Supporting the 2027 IMS Medallion Lecture
The Institute of Mathematical Statistics is an international professional and scholarly society for probability and statistics, founded in 1935. It publishes a family of research journals and supports the field through meetings, fellowships and a programme of named lectures.
The IMS has confirmed that the 2027 Medallion Lecture will be delivered at APS 2027 in Durham by Tom Hutchcroft of the California Institute of Technology, and is supporting his participation. See the plenary speakers page.

Becoming a sponsor
APS 2027 brings together several hundred researchers and practitioners in applied probability, from business schools, engineering and mathematics departments, statistics, economics and computer science, across three days in Durham. Sponsorship offers direct engagement with that community.
The organising committee welcomes enquiries from academic societies, publishers, research institutes, funders and industry. Support can be directed at a specific part of the conference, or offered as a general contribution.
